Route 64 Almodôvar (MTB XC Level 3 - Red)

High skill level route, that covers the rural paths in the surroundings of the village of Almodôvar. The degree of difficulty is attributed essentially to the distance covered and the accumulated unevenness, since the paths are generally wide and with good ground, except for a short path with a slightly more technical profile that accompanies the course of the River Mira. There are some more challenging slopes, mainly in the mountainous area, but almost always with great flow throughout the landscape. The landscape is dominated by cork oak and holm oak forests with several crossings of the Mira river bed, which may be conditioned during periods of higher flow. The main crossing point is the village of "Santa Clara-a-Nova", where there are support services such as cafes and public toilets, in addition to the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum “Manuel Vicente Guerreiro”. This route is partially coincident with other routes of this Cycling Center, with different distances and degrees of difficulty, allowing you to choose a different route during the activity.
