The Redondo Ecomuseum is an open-air, living and active space that will allow direct recognition of the archaeological and environmental heritage, functioning as a mirror where one can observe the territory and human experience from time immemorial to the present day. it is like a laboratory of emotions, experiences and exchange of experiences.
The Ecomuseum is located in the Northeast area of the municipality (next to Freixo) in an area of about 6000 hours and has as its support point the former School of São Bento do Zambujal. Located in the extreme north of the parish and municipality of Redondo and covering part of the Serra d’Ossa, the Ecomuseum is located in a geographically privileged territory whose natural resources were, for centuries, the object of enjoyment by the populations that passed through here.
